Eduvent – Student community service initiative: A platform for connecting studentsand extracurricular activities opportunities

Gathering education event information like extracurricular activities and volunteer work opportunities for students in one place are hard, even though social media like Facebook is a trending place to spread information but it is too general and distracting for fresh university students both in the city and students who just come from provinces and enter the city for the first time. This research will identify the common problems that fresh graduate students have faced when finding extracurricular activities and the research aims to seek the understanding of the user interface preference regarding the website development from the students’ perspective about the extracurricular activities website. Furthermore, this research will use the frameworks in order to construct the extracurricular activities platform that can distribute all of the extracurricular activities information to the student in one place so it is convenient for the fresh university student.
